How a software engineer ended up writing culture books
I started in code. Backend systems, the predictable joys of an engineer’s first job. Then I noticed that the hardest problems on any project were not technical. They were narrative. Why are we building this? Who is it for? What is the story we tell ourselves on a Tuesday afternoon when the work is hard?
A decade later, I get paid to answer those questions for other people’s businesses.
Right now
Co-founder and CMO at Livuvo, an AI-powered interactive video platform we are building for e-commerce in the CIS region, and founder of Content Bite, an AI assistant that helps people scroll less and know more.
Alongside that I host several podcasts, take on a small number of advisory engagements for brand and storytelling work, produce podcasts for select brands and creators, and write or translate books I think more people should be carrying. I also run workshops on narrative storytelling, persuasive copywriting, AI-era content production, and prompt engineering for marketers.
The bit that is not on LinkedIn
I live in Tashkent. I read more than I should, usually two books at a time, rarely the right ones. I think the best ideas in business arrive disguised as the wrong field, and that the people who notice this have an unfair advantage.
